今天只看了前面两个展,Thomas Demand 的 Mirror without Memory 还有一个群展 Spirit Labor。可以看到第二个展有台湾的文化部参与。
Mirror Without Memory
Thomas Demand是一位德国的摄影师和雕塑家,这个展览里他用纸板等各种材料重新构筑了很多非常有历史意义的照片和场景,并且使他们成为了一些新的照片。其中他再造了莫奈的睡莲,再造了991袭击之前其中一架被劫持飞机出发机场的安检点,再造了福岛核电站事故后的控制中心的照片等等,在这个莫斯科的特别展出里他还再造了斯洛登流亡莫斯科谢列梅捷沃机场里的种种景观。他的照片几乎就是我梦中想要看到的照片,安静,没有人类,有细致让人感到安慰的纹理,以及与这个世界相似又不同的色彩。我第一眼就想到了Edward Hopper以及那部翻拍他绘画的电影《雪莉:现实的愿景》。其中导演再造了Hopper十三部画作的场景,那种质感几乎和我今天看到的一模一样。最近听到的一句话让我深有感触:“艺术就是关于如何做选择”。绘画就是那个艺术家对颜色选择之后的世界。这些照片以及那部电影,视觉上就让我觉得无比舒适也可能正是因为这个原因。当然这些作品背后表达了作者的政治思想也很重要。关于展出标题无忆之镜(Mirror Without Memory)的镜子主题也许就蕴藏在这种有选择的再造之中。我这里贴一段展出里写的话:
The photograph depicts “a place without a place”, bringing to mind Foucault again and his commentary on the concept of heterotopia, which turns out to be applicable to some of the circumstances of the exhibition Mirror Without Memory: “The mirror is, after all, a utopia, since it is a placeless place. In the mirror, I see myself there where I am not, in an unreal, virtual space that opens up behind the surface; […] But it is also a heterotopia in so far as the mirror does exist in reality, where it exerts a sort of counteraction on the position that I occupy. From the standpoint of the mirror I discover my absence from the place where I am since I see myself over there.
不同类型媒介的作品总给我带来很不同的感受,音乐是一种感受,文学又是另一种,电影是一种,绘画又会是另一种,它们平时泾渭分明,似乎在我空旷的大脑里找到了不同的位置居住。但有时候这些感受开始交错时,总能让我获得类似于通感的极其独特的体验。比如看侯麦的四季故事时就唤起了阅读一些结构精巧的短篇小说的感受;读舒尔茨的《鳄鱼街》时体会到了阅读漫画的视觉体验;玩《Inside》时的感受和观看《I am thinking of ending things》的感受相同。自己的大脑如此贪婪于是我得不断去寻找那些新的感受,而《极乐迪斯科》就是在这段寻找旅程里最棒的一次体验。
最后要说的是“遗忘”。游戏一开头主人公就因为情绪崩溃和酗酒彻底失忆,我们最后可以在与同事的谈话里知道这不是主人公第一次遗忘过去了。在游戏过程里我们可以慢慢拼凑出主人公的过去(主人公自己的名字Harrier Du Bois都花了很长时间才找到,不过我们也可以知道主人公曾用 Tequila Sunset这个名字和渔村的人打交道),主人公在一次失败爱情后彻底精神崩溃,再也没能从这份心碎中恢复,只能不断工作,酗酒,当抑郁积攒到极点时就会遗忘过去。但我们还是能在主人公随身带的记录里找到一份来自她的信(游戏中如果读到了这个会直接昏倒)。

去年的一大遗憾是我错过了陆毅六月初在纳什维尔的演出(后来我翻了日历那几天正在开一个线上会议)。不过在c的提醒下我没有错过他新出的喜剧特辑。有一说一,确实比去年的《Sincerely: Louis C.K.》好笑。还是那个陆毅,非常好笑又非常有诗意。陆毅的有一些笑话总是能让他从无穷无尽好笑但平庸的喜剧里脱离出来,可能这就是他的特别之处。这里贴一个很喜欢的陆毅的采访,很能体现我说的这种特别的风格:不给孩子买手机的理由。《Sorry》现在在他的个人网站有售,传送门:路易官网
